Create sequential file names with an optional keyword, keep every original extension, and download the result as one ZIP file.
Add files and choose a starting number, with an optional keyword to make the set recognizable. Leading zeros set the numbering width: 001 leaves room for a three-digit sequence. Original extensions are retained, so renaming a JPG does not turn it into a PNG or alter its image content.
Sort the list or drag files into the order you want before assigning the final sequence. Folder selection can retain relative folder paths inside the ZIP, which is useful for organizing a collection without flattening it. Review the proposed names and any validation message before downloading, especially near the end of a numbering range.
The tool packages renamed copies into a ZIP in your browser. It does not rename files in their original location or upload their contents to IMGIUM's servers. You can try another order or naming pattern while keeping the source files intact. Very large collections require enough memory for ZIP creation.
No. File naming and ZIP creation happen in your browser.
Folder paths are preserved inside the ZIP while each file receives its new numbered name.
The download is blocked before any work starts. For example, 99 is a two-digit range and cannot continue to 100; use 099 for a three-digit range.
No. You download a ZIP containing renamed copies. The files you selected remain unchanged in their original location.
Yes. The renamer accepts files without decoding them as images and preserves their extensions. It changes names, not the underlying file format.
If the image contents also need work, finish conversion or resizing first. Then rename the finished files into the order you plan to share or archive.
